This sumac is a naturally occurring spice from the hills of Palestine. Sumac has a sour taste and is perfect for marinating chicken or meat dishes. Used extensively with the traditional Palestinian dish of Msakhan. Sumac is best used to sprinkle on meat dishes after cooking and just before serving.
